Skin boosters and biorevitalization treatments are minimally invasive injectable procedures designed to improve skin quality, with an effect on hydration, elasticity, firmness, texture and radiance.
Depending on the product and the treatment objective, the formulations used may contain hyaluronic acid, amino acids and other active components, selected according to the particularities of the skin and tissues.
Unlike dermal fillers, used mainly for volume restoration and contouring, these treatments are oriented predominantly towards hydration, biorevitalization and bioremodeling, preserving the natural look of the features.

DiscoverSKINVIVE™ by Juvéderm® is an injectable hyaluronic acid-based treatment designed to improve skin hydration and quality.

Unlike dermal fillers used for volumizing and contouring, SKINVIVE™ is not intended to modify facial volumes or features. The objective is skin that looks more hydrated, smoother, more radiant and revitalized.

The treatment involves microinjections at skin level. The amount of product and the treated areas are established individually, following the medical consultation.

Results appear progressively after the treatment. The skin gradually takes on a more hydrated, smoother and more radiant appearance.
The effects of the treatment may persist for up to approximately 9 months, with individual variations depending on skin characteristics and other individual factors.

After the procedure, redness, sensitivity, small papules or swelling at the injection site, mild edema or bruising may temporarily occur. These reactions are generally transient.
The main difference is the objective of the treatment.
Dermal fillers are used predominantly for volume restoration and contouring. SKINVIVE™ is oriented towards hydration and improving skin quality, without the objective of modifying the shape or volumes of the face.
The intended result is skin with a fresher and more radiant appearance, preserving the natural look of the features.
Bioremodeling and improved tissue quality
PROFHILO® is an injectable hyaluronic acid-based treatment designed for tissue bioremodeling and improvement of skin quality.
It does not aim for the volumizing specific to dermal fillers, but acts on skin hydration, elasticity and firmness, for a natural result.
Depending on the indication and on tissue changes, PROFHILO® or PROFHILO® STRUCTURA may be used, two treatments with different objectives.
PROFHILO® is intended especially for skin showing dehydration, loss of elasticity and firmness or laxity.
The treatment may be used on the face and neck, as well as in certain areas of the body, depending on the medical indication and tissue characteristics.
PROFHILO® is administered by injection at specific points, according to the protocol corresponding to the treated area.
The procedure is minimally invasive, and the injection technique and protocol are established according to the treated area and skin characteristics.
The initial protocol usually involves two sessions approximately one month apart. Maintenance sessions may subsequently be recommended, depending on the individual response and the needs of the skin.
Results appear progressively in the following weeks. The skin may take on a more hydrated, more elastic and firmer appearance, and the improvement continues throughout the bioremodeling process.
Immediately after the procedure, small papules may remain at the injection points. Redness, sensitivity, mild edema or bruising may temporarily occur, resolving progressively.
Structural support and remodeling of facial tissues
PROFHILO® STRUCTURA has a different approach compared with PROFHILO®.
The treatment is oriented towards the superficial adipose tissue of the face and towards the structural changes associated with the aging process. Published clinical studies have evaluated the use of the product for the restoration and remodeling of the superficial facial fat compartments.
The objective is not the volumizing specific to a filler, but the support and remodeling of tissues, preserving the natural anatomy and expressiveness of the face.
PROFHILO® is oriented predominantly towards skin quality, hydration, elasticity and firmness and may be used in different areas, depending on the indication.
PROFHILO® STRUCTURA addresses the structural support and remodeling of facial tissues.
The two treatments answer different needs and, in certain situations, may be part of the same therapeutic plan.
Is PROFHILO® a filler?
Not in the classic sense. The main objective is not volumizing or projecting a certain area, but bioremodeling and improving tissue quality.
When do the results start to show?
Results appear progressively. Hydration and the appearance of the skin may improve gradually, and the bioremodeling effect continues to evolve in the following weeks.
Can PROFHILO® and PROFHILO® STRUCTURA be combined?
Yes. In certain situations, the two treatments may be integrated into the same plan when the medical assessment identifies both changes in skin quality and the need for structural support of the facial tissues.
How is the right treatment chosen?
The choice is made following the medical assessment, according to skin quality, the degree of laxity, the anatomy of the area and tissue changes, not only according to age.
Biorevitalization with hyaluronic acid and amino acids
Jalupro® is a range of injectable biorevitalization treatments combining hyaluronic acid with amino acids, in formulations adapted to different needs and areas of the skin.
The treatments are oriented towards hydration, revitalization and improvement of skin quality, as well as towards supporting the processes involved in the synthesis of extracellular matrix components, including collagen.
Depending on skin characteristics, the treated area and the intended objective, Jalupro Classic, Jalupro HMW, Jalupro Super Hydro or Jalupro Young Eye may be used.
Jalupro Classic combines amino acids and hyaluronic acid and is oriented towards skin revitalization and support of the processes involved in collagen synthesis.

Jalupro HMW combines high molecular weight hyaluronic acid with amino acids and is oriented towards skin hydration and revitalization, as well as towards improving its elasticity and overall appearance.

Jalupro Super Hydro is oriented towards a more complex approach to biorevitalization and tissue support, especially when there is dehydration, loss of elasticity and firmness or laxity.
The formulation combines high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, amino acids and peptides, with the objective of hydration, improvement of skin quality and support of connective tissue structures.
Published clinical data for Jalupro Super Hydro have shown improvements in hydration, elasticity and collagen density, including at the level of the dermis and the superficial connective tissue.
It is an option when an approach that goes beyond simple hydration is sought, with an emphasis on the quality, firmness and support of tissues.
The skin around the eyes is thinner and requires an approach adapted to the particularities of this region.
Jalupro Young Eye is a formulation designed specifically for the periocular area, with the objective of improving the hydration, elasticity and quality of the skin around the eyes.

The results of Jalupro® treatments appear progressively. The first changes in hydration and skin appearance may become visible after the treatment, and the revitalizing effect continues to develop in the following weeks.

What is the difference between Classic, HMW, Super Hydro and Young Eye?
Each formulation answers different needs. Classic is oriented towards biorevitalization and collagen support, HMW emphasizes hydration and elasticity, Super Hydro offers a more complex approach, oriented towards hydration, firmness and tissue support, and Young Eye is designed specifically for the periocular area.
How do I choose between Jalupro Classic, HMW and Super Hydro?
The choice is not made according to age alone. The following are assessed: the degree of hydration, the elasticity and firmness of the skin, the presence of fine lines, the area to be treated and the intended objective.
When is Jalupro Young Eye recommended?
When the skin around the eyes shows dehydration, fine lines, loss of elasticity or a tired appearance and improving the quality of this area is indicated.
Does Jalupro® provide volume like a filler?
That is not the main objective. Jalupro® is oriented towards biorevitalization and improving skin quality, while dermal fillers are used predominantly for volume restoration and contouring.
Can Jalupro® be combined with other procedures?
Yes. Depending on the indication, it may be integrated into a personalized treatment plan, together with other procedures for improving skin quality. The order of and interval between treatments are established by the physician.
